Who we are

Taylor Matthews provides the Members Connect app and the branded group spaces described on this site. We are the data controller for the personal data described here — we decide why and how it is used. You can contact us about privacy at daybreaks.taylorrenee@gmail.com.

What we collect and why

• Account data — name, email address, login credentials, and the sign-in provider you use (for example Google). Used to create and secure your account and to sign you in. Legal basis: performance of our contract with you.
• Group and organization data — organization name, contact name and email, requested seats, notes on your sign-up request, group branding (logo, colours, welcome text), your role in the group, and membership records. Used to set up and run your group space. Legal basis: contract performance and our legitimate interest in administering group accounts.
• Support messages — what you send us and our replies. Used to answer you. Legal basis: contract performance and legitimate interests.
• Usage and device data — pages viewed, actions taken, approximate timing, device and browser type, and IP address. Used to keep the service secure, diagnose faults, prevent fraud and abuse, and improve the product. Legal basis: legitimate interests.
• Billing records we hold — plan, subscription status, seat limit, invoice numbers, amounts, and payment status returned to us by Paddle. Used to manage entitlement and keep records. Legal basis: contract performance and legal obligation. Card details are never collected or stored by us.
• Marketing — if you opt in, your email address to send occasional product news. Legal basis: consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

Who we share data with

• Service providers and subprocessors — hosting, database, authentication, email delivery, and error-monitoring providers acting on our instructions.
• Paddle, our Merchant of Record, for the sale of our product, subscription management, payments, tax compliance, and invoicing.
• Professional advisers — legal and accounting advisers where needed.
• Authorities — where we are required to disclose data by law, or to protect our rights or someone's safety.

We do not sell personal data.

International transfers

Our providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States. Where data leaves the UK or EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.

How long we keep it

Account and group data is kept while your account or group is active and for up to 12 months afterwards, so a space can be restored if you return. Billing and tax records are kept for as long as the law requires (usually 7 years). Support messages are kept for up to 3 years. Usage logs are kept for up to 12 months. After that, data is deleted or anonymised.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or transfer it to another provider. You can withdraw consent to marketing at any time. Email daybreaks.taylorrenee@gmail.com and we will respond within one month. If you are in the UK or EEA you can also complain to your local data protection supervisory authority.

Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including encryption in transit, encrypted storage, role-based access controls, row-level database access rules, and least-privilege access for our own team.

Cookies and similar technologies

We use essential cookies and local storage to keep you signed in and to remember your preferences — these are required for the app to work. We use a small amount of analytics data to understand how the app is used, and we do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings, though signing in will not work without the essential ones.

Changes

If we change this notice we will update the date at the top of this page and, for material changes, tell you in the app or by email.
